Antranig Baghdassarian, Chairman of the Board of Directors of “Hayastan” All-Armenian Fund

For the sake of transparency and accountability, The Truth Must Be Told, a Los Angeles-based civil initiative, is organizing an audit trip to Armenia and Artsakh to examine the quality of the work carried out by “Hayastan” All-Armenian Fund, in June of 2014. The airfare will be covered by Antranig Baghdasarian, Chairman of the Board of Directors of “Hayastan” All-Armenian Fund, U.S. Western Region.

“Anyone who doesn’t believe, I will pay for their plane ticket, so that they can go and see with their own eyes,” said Mr. Baghdassarian during the Telethon of the “Hayastan” All-Armenian Fund, in Burbank, CA, on November 28, 2013 (watch the video at

“If so they wish, let them bring an expert along, take a sample from the cement and examine it and see how strong that cement is,” he added.

Ara K. Manoogian, founder of The Truth Must Be Told and the author of “To Donate Or Not to Donate?”, a white paper on “Hayastan” All-Armenian Fund, documenting its 22-year history, welcomes Antranig Baghdassarian’s offer.

“I welcome Mr. Baghdassarian’s generous offer, which gives me hope that “Hayastan” All-Armenian Fund is ready to face the shortfalls that may be detected during the independent audit and will make corresponding reforms to address the possible issues,” Manoogian said referring to the initiative of The Truth Must Be Told to recruit a group of individuals concerned with the quality of work done by “Hayastan” All-Armenian Fund in Armenia and Artsakh.

The Truth Must Be Told will limit the number of participants to 50 people, but encourages others to organize independent auditing groups, since the Chairman of the “Hayastan” All-Armenian Fund, U.S. Western Region, did not place a limit on how many people may accept his offer.

The ground transportation, lodging and other related expenses will be the responsibility of the participants. Persons interested in participating should email their contact information to:
