Congressman Adam Schiff was invited to speak at “100 Years Later: The Shared Reflections of Two Communities,” a commemoration of the centennial of the Armenian Genocide, presented by the American Jewish Committee and the Western Diocese of the Armenian Church on Sunday, March 22, 2015, at Western Diocese of the Armenian Church Nazareth & Sima Kalaydjian Hall 3325 N. Glenoaks Blvd., Burbank, CA 91504.

There were featured keynote addresses by Dr. Stephen D. Smith, the Executive Director of the USC Shoah Foundation and Dr. Richard G. Hovannisian, Professor Emeritus of Armenian and Near Eastern History at UCLA, Adjunct Professor of History at USC. With special remarks by Congressman Adam Schiff of California’s 28th Congressional District, Archbishop Hovnan Derderian, the Primate of the Western Diocese of the Armenian Church of North America, and Dean Schramm, President of the Los Angeles Region of the American Jewish Committee, as well as dance and musical performances.
